Personal data we process
Flowfirm processes your personal data because you provide it to us. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
- Data required for completing a job application procedure, such as your name, contact details (e.g. place of residence, email address, phone number), date of birth, personal data in a CV and/or cover letter, in correspondence and/or by phone.
- Data regarding your online activity: such as your online interaction with Flowfirm Engineers’ websites, browsing history, search history, preferences, location and IP address.
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16 unless they have the consent of a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@flowfirm.nl and we will delete that information.
Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data
Flowfirm processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To complete job application procedures;
- To enable you to participate in events and activities organised by Van Doren Engineers;
- To send our newsletter;
- To inform you about your potential dream job.
Automated decision-making
Flowfirm does not make decisions based on automated processing that could have significant consequences for individuals. These decisions include those made by computer programs or systems without a human (e.g. a Flowfirm employee) being involved.
How long we retain personal data
Flowfirm does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Flowfirm does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Flowfirm, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request for us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organisation of your choice.
You can send a request to view, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, via info@flowfirm.nl. To ensure the request is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
Flowfirm would also like to point out that you have the option of lodging a complaint with the national regulator, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
How we protect personal data
Flowfirm takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or info@flowfirm.nl.
